22. What will happen to the Defendant who fails to pay the sum payable under the award of the Labour Tribunal?

If the Defendant wilfully and without reasonable excuse fails to pay any sum payable under the award within 14 days after the date of the award, he commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of $350,000 and to imprisonment for 3 years. [Sections 43N-43S, Employment Ordinance, Cap.57]
