6) If I am not satisfied with my lawyer's service, can I terminate the appointment immediately?

You can terminate the appointment with your solicitor at any time. However, your solicitor has the right to retain the relevant legal documents until you have paid the outstanding legal costs. You should also note that extra time may be incurred for a new solicitor to get familiar with your case.

In relation to barrister’s service, you should discuss with your solicitor (who is your middleman) and see if it is necessary to appoint another barrister.
